"Where do we even begin? In short, working with David Pruett was a dream from start to finish. We met David at an event a year before we started searching for houses. Walking out of the event, my wife and I knew, without a doubt, that we wanted David to help us find our first home - he exuded confidence without a shred of arrogance, and clearly had a wealth of knowledge about the Atlanta real estate world that he shared in a lighthearted way that left us interested in learning more, instead of intimidated to dive in! A year later, having saved David's information for all those months, we reached out to him to get the conversation started - he responded incredibly quickly, remembered having met us a year prior (wow!), and set up a meeting almost immediately. As first-time homebuyers, our initial meeting with David was everything we could've asked for and more. He was calm, informative, and genuinely excited to be on the journey with us. The materials, resources, and processes he has in place are the perfect level of thorough, without being at all tedious or unnecessary. Before the meeting, we felt overwhelmed, intimidated, and unsure, but walking away from our meeting with David we felt at ease, so pumped to move forward, and knew exactly what to expect next! The process from then on was effective, efficient, easy, and genuinely enjoyable. David was incredibly communicative - we were never left wondering what the next steps were, we always felt like a priority, and he was always so quick to jump on giving us his honest and helpful feedback on houses we showed an interest in, setting up showings and encouraging us to visit open houses. Actually walking through houses with David was unbelievably informative and efficient. He has an incredible wealth of knowledge on what to look out for in a good, solid house, and watch out for red flags that the average person (like us!) wouldn't even notice. And again, as first-time home buyers, this is exactly what we needed. When it came time to put in offers on homes, David was aggressive in all the right ways. He always had great clarity and certainty when it came to knowing what it would take to win. He built our offers in a way that was strategic but was within our means and comfort level. We never felt pushed or intimidated into building an offer we weren't sure about or couldn't work for us financially (which is a concern for many first-time homebuyers!), and David always found creative and just downright smart ways to write an appealing offer. Throughout the offer submission, review, and offer acceptance process, David was there with us every step of the way. He kept us in the know about where the seller was with the decision-making process, was very honest, and gave us excellent advice when it came to when we should be more or less aggressive given the house, what he'd learned from the seller's agent, the market, comps, and ultimately what we were comfortable with. Before we get to the best part, I will share that, throughout the process, David gave us solid recommendations of preferred lenders, painters, movers, cleaners, landscapers, etc. - most, if not all, of whom he connected us with directly. There was so much added value along the way, that it'd be impossible to give an exhaustive list! In the end, what some people think is a miracle, others claim was serendipity, but what we think had everything to do with David's aptitude as our realtor, we found, put an offer on, and won our absolute DREAM house in RECORD time. This house checks every box, even the ones we didn't think would be possible for our first home. David was there with us every step of the way from offer acceptance through closing - a process we knew nothing about, but feel like we became experts on through David's thorough guidance! We closed on our home just a few days ago, and truly could not be happier. We can't imagine not having worked with David through this process, and he's won our loyalty for many years to come!"
